Hello everyone welcome to Digital Publishing! We are going to have a fantastic 11 weeks together. This website is your one stop shop to all things this class.

1. The goal is to have everything in your "Start Project" sections filled out and completed EXCEPT for the video. Please bring all materials necessary to make your videos next week!!

Hello everyone. Welcome to Digital Publishing 3107. We will be working together these next 11 weeks and learning about typography, design, and everything that comes along with crowd source funding. It will be an intense but fun 11 weeks together!

Homework for Tuesday, Feb 5.

Hi everyone, I just realized that I had not updated the homework for this week (still reflected stuff from previous quarter.) As mentioned in class, the homework due Tues, Feb 5 is the following:

1. Finish posters - - Taking into consideration suggestions made in class, finalize your "Calling Out" poster designs in Illustrator and bring to class.

2. Finish Kickstarter projects- -Be ready to launch! Finish all components (including video) to your Kickstarter. Make sure to verify your account via Amazon!! We will do one last look over in class and then launch.

3. Bring 1 image of a previous work (your own) that you are particularly fond of. We will use these images to discuss principles of design in class.

Spice up your sans serif!

Hi everyone! We all love our arials and helveticas, but here are several links to some wonderful sans serif fonts for designers that are (for the most part) free to download!! There are a lot of craaazy, fun, and louder fonts out there (i.e. one of my favs, buffy the vampire font), but it's also important to have alternatives to your basic sans-serif to add a little style and edge to your text designs and layouts.
